Elizabeth Attorneys With Experience Fighting Deportation
If an individual is served with a Notice To Appear (NTA) in New Jersey, he/she will be summoned to appear at Immigration Court. There are two immigration courts in New Jersey. The courts fall under the jurisdiction of the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR). If an individual is detained, whether it be because the person is subject to mandatory detention or an inability to post bond, his/her case will most likely be heard at the Elizabeth Immigration Court, which is housed inside the Elizabeth Contract Detention Facility.
